Allow me to introduce myself my name is Lisa and I am the owner of PrimandProperNails.  I live in Poole with my hubby and we own a Sharpei Dog who is over  9 years old.

Clients always ask why I decided to become a nail technican.

I previously used to have a nail technician do my nails in early 2000, I decided to train to become a nail technician as loved working with the public and had always had a strong passion for nails and absolutely loved having my nails done.  I had previously had a set of nails fitted when acrylics first came to Bournemouth in the late 1980's, with a price tag of £47 for a full set at that time.

I found Essential Nails Online and started training to become a nail technician in May 2005 and  qualified in early 2006, I then went on to study further courses in gel, fibreglass/silk nail extensions, sculpting nails, nail art including using an airbrush, and gel polish. To study these courses it took alot of hard work and lots of patience and determination.

I started my own business in 2006 as Lisa 4 Nails Mobile Nails. I have previously worked in two nail salons but still preferred offering a mobile service to clients. Mobile is still popular even today where clients can have their nails done in the comfort of their own homes and they don't have to worry about car parking fees and going out.

In 2015 I sadly had to make a tough decision and had to close my business to new clients  but still kept my regular clients with me as my Father had become terminally ill with Cancer, and my partner was awaiting major heart surgery, this was a very hard decision to me at this time as I had built a lovely relationship with my clients.

Last year my career changed when a friend of mine who lives locally and is also a nail technician was interested in a level 3 nail technology course. I enrolled in September 2016 and passed in April 2017. This course updated my nail skills to level 3.

I re-opened and started PrimandProperNails in December 2016 offering models at a discounted rate as part of my level 3 course.
